Dr. Esther Real Saladrigas is Full Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).

Her research focuses on the nonlinear analysis of steel structures. In particular, structural problems associated with plate buckling, structural behavior of stainless steel and nonlinear analysis of steel structures. All her work is reflected in numerous articles in international indexed journals. Concerning stainless steel, she has actively contributed to the ongoing development of EN1993, which provides recommendations for the design of stainless steel structures.
