Tomás García Vicente is Public Works Technical Engineer and Industrial Organization Engineer. He got the degrees from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC-BarcelonaTech) in 1993 and 2006.

He is affiliated to the UPC since 1999, initially as research assistant focusing his research on concrete technology.

He is director of the Laboratory of Technology Structures and Materials since 2005.
