Last summer, as a part of a collaboration effort between the Slovakia Technical University (STU) and UPC, a co-supervised PhD dissertation was succesfully presented by Vladimir Ilanovsky in Bratislava. The doctoral thesis about the behavior of corrugated webs in bridges was co-supervised by Prof. Ivan Baláž from Bratislava and Prof. Enrique Mirambell from Structech.
